The Toilet learning workshop

This 4 hour workshop explores the physical and mental developmental processes that toddlers need to undergo to use the toilet reliably. You will learn ways to support your toddler to recognise their body’s cues and urges, understand and explore norms, hygiene and the practicalities of toilet use. You will leave this workshop feeling confident in supporting your child to use the toilet independently, when they are ready, without the stress, mess, and disadvantages of many ‘toilet training’ practices.

How do we help?

Your toddler's physiological and brain development, and the signs of readiness for managing toilet use reliably and independently
The effects that different 'toilet training' approaches can have on a toddler's toileting behaviour both short- and long-term
Frameworks to empower parents to support their toddler to develop the physical skills, recognise their internal cues, and manage toilet hygiene and practices calmly in a way that works for them, their toddler and their unique family situation.

Toddler development

Our consultants are comprehensively trained in all aspects of toddler development and developmental psychology from 12 months to 5 years.

Toddler eating

Our consultants receive training in milk feeding beyond 12 months, and the growing nutritional needs, psychology, and behaviours of children surrounding eating.

Toddler sleep

Our consultants are trained in the science of sleep and follow evidence-based support practices that promote healthy sleep practices, development, andrelationships.

Nurturing

All our toddler specialists are trained in toddler behaviour, and a range of nurturing techniques to calm, and build brains, including, carrying to peer support level.
