Fastening the chest strap on a baby carrier can be tricky

Are you struggling to reach to fasten the chest strap on your carrier? This is a problem we see all the time. Most parents find that positioning the chest strap as low as possible on their back is most comfortable, however, that can make it very tricky to fasten.

Pre-clipped chest strap

Firstly, this video shows how to use a baby carrier in a front carry with the pre-clipped chest strap method. This is the method most parents find easiest for fastening their baby carrier chest strap. You fasten the strap before you position the baby. The chest strap moves down your back into position as you tighten the shoulder straps.

Tightening 3 ways

This second video from Jody, shows three methods for fastening and tightening a chest strap once you are wearing your baby carrier.
