Why we love it: The Beco Gemini Cool is stylish looking soft structured carrier that is particularly narrow and so is often our first suggestion for smaller babies, and it doesn’t need an infant insert.

With its breathable 3D mesh panel it suits even the warmest of climates

A clever system lets you quickly and securely alter the width of the base so that the Gemini can suit babies from 7lbs (so newborn) up to 35lbs, but often it can begin to feel less supportive around 15-18 months due to the narrower base. You can wear the shoulder straps ‘back pack style’ or crossed over, and it features ‘safety buckles’. (Whilst these are an additional safety feature they can make it harder for some people to undo these buckles.)

It has a fold down head rest that attaches to the main body of the carrier with simple poppers so that in an outward facing position the panel is not too long, but in an inward facing position they have the support of the extra panel length.
